fails, telling me, both on Windows and on my Android phone, that IPv6 DNS fails. RA on internal network, Windows and Linux machines can get a proper IPv6 address with the correct prefix.Pi-hole is the upstream server for DNSMasq.DNSMasq in OPNSense serving as DHCP+DNS server for the internal network (following this guide, it is resolving internal host names as well. Now I have a Proxmox base, OPNSense VM with two pass-through NICs, and a Pi-hole container serving as the internal DNS server. I may get a 2.5Gbps internet and it's cheaper to do this box than a multi-gig consumer router, so I thought to give the virtualize router a try as well. I recently got a 4-port Celeron N5105 pint size server, and intend to consolidate my other higher power (wattage) server functions. IPv6 is a curiosity, and also it used to work out of the box when I was on a crappy Mikrotik router/AP, the OCD in me really wants to get it working again. I am not sure if I would have better luck here or at OPNSense forum, so I thought I'd try here first.
